... beer by two French people living in Mayotte. Of course I accepted and I joined their table for dinner so I didn't have to sit alone. I actually went to bed pretty early so I could get up early. The taxi brousse was supposed to pick me up around 6am. When I went to bed something was going on around my Malagasy hut. I heard footsteps all around and sometimes the beam of a flashlight made it's way into my hut through the several wooden planks. Dogs were ...

Steve is still not feeling great, but at least he's letting it come out (so we don't have a repeat of India!)... TMI?! And, as I write, Connor has just started to vomit... What fun tomorrow's 5 hour journey will be to Ankify (where the speedboat dropped us off after Nosy Be).... He and Steve will have to be dosed up, with more Imodium and Valoid at the ready in case the rest of us are struck down.

... in. No such luck - a cacophony of noise assaulted us, with the unpleasant combination of the boom boom boom of the on site breakdance class, the 4 hour gospel service in the church across the road, and the various local mosques calling to prayer, so chilling by the pool was impossible. This hotel is very basic and not especially pleasant, and so we made calls to see if there was anything else available in town - we remembered it was ...
