... coreopsis in bloom, as well as Queen Anne’s lace, prairie gay feather, and other wildflowers. We hiked through one flower-filled meadow, then passed through the campground, before crossing the Blue Ridge Parkway at Low Notch, which had lovely views down the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Arriving at the town of Blowing Rock in the afternoon, we went and checked out the "Crown of the Blue ...

The blue ridge parkway. I love this soulful winding road. It cuts through the heart of the South, through the mountainous territory of the most homely and breathtaking part of the country. And it brings me home somehow no matter how far I have roamed. In the middle of this US portion of the journey to visit all the Church St. ...

... not a single snag/tear/cut, or abrasion mark on them! My only flaw I could think of, items did get wet during a rainstorm - but the gear you are bound to keep in them, will more than likely not be effected by water. Any gear that might be effected by water....... well ..... just like your side pockets on your pack - those items will be in a zip lock bag anyways. So I don't see this as a issue. Features ...
