      ... 4 Brown Trout. Threw them back. Back to the house to pack up. Tomorrow we leave this beautiful place :-( Going to dinner at Bayou Smokehouse & Grill in Banner Elk. We were suppose to meet here for lunch a week ago when we first arrived, but the Wooley Worm Festival was going on and it was a madhouse in town. What a fabulous and memorable week!!!!!!!!       ... and mushrooms. Kevin grilled some chicken to make sandwiches later this week for our fishing expedition and picnic. The sun should be coming back out for the remainder of the week.       Kevin made pancakes and sausage for breakfast. We took our time getting ready because the views out our kitchen window were spectacular autumn magnificence to the nth degree.

      Stopped at a country general store/outfitter/blast from the past. We really enjoyed this.

      Then on to Blowing Rock were we enjoyed walking around ...

      ... laying in a hammock with a beer and a smoke yelling "PIVOT!!!" But not this trip! Adam traversed his way up to the top of a few steep boulders and even down climbed a squirly little section. Of course afterwards he vowel to once again never climb, but it was still a proud moment.

      Grayson Highlands was a great time. Even though the weather conditions were not the best, the experience was still worth it and we plan to make a return trip soon!
