Well. It's official. I'm am FINALLY going to Sicily! Being able to spend 11 weeks in Sicily is a dream come true and I could not be more excited for it. They served an appetizer akin to a "make your own" bruschetta - a couple cloves of garlic, a whole tomato, salt and olive oil. ... for some and I thought I may be among that group as I was brought out of my slumber by thunder. It was raining steady in Ocean Springs but the forecast was drier near Atlanta so crossing my fingers I headed out. My lack of luck caught me at my first fuel stop.
