... late and arrived in Fort Lauderdale at 12:30am. After grabbing our bags we set off for the Hertz Rental station and found our van was to be in stall 233. Onward we went only to find that it was not going to be that easy. The parking stall was empty and our van was nowhere to be found. We didn't end up going far, as the beachfront was really the main attraction. The sun was really belting down, but after two days of rain, we didn't mind. There were all sorts of beach goers there, including 50 year olds, running and doing their stretches in G-strings. Awesome!

I held strong for so long until he kissed me goodbye and said "I'll see you in a few months baby." *Cue waterfalls of tears*

You would think by now I would be used to the Goodbyes.... Dan and I have been dating long distance since the beginning... I wouldn't recommend it to ...

As I sit here at gate H7 in Fort Lauderdale International Airport, drifting away to Neil Young's "Like a Hurricane," I think back on the last 8 days, and some of the things that I experienced, the things I saw, and the lessons I learned. Tying it all together, one could say.

Key Largo. North Miami Beach. South Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale. Aventura.

As it usually happens to go, it's not until I leave Minneapolis for some ...
