The Fifth Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 23, 2013

We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. We also drove to Wall Drug, a famous drug store that's sells all kind of stuff, where we met a guy who seemed to know an awful ...

... but I definitely had a more optimist view of everything during the first week.

The weirdest feeling I had was my enthusiasm for school. Never in my life have I been excited to go to school and to have homework. I used to DREAD going to school. I was the girl in high school that would fake sick any change I could. But on my first day of class at DU I was so into it. Getting my first homework assignment gave me butterflies. It was only until ...
