... for the next 4 nights at Don and Rosemarie's house in nearby Littleton. Being together with our counterpart 'outlaw' grandparents is something we've come to enjoy very much. Each visit gets better and better. No need to rush on Wednesday. We went out with Rosemarie to do some shopping. It was decided that we'd all go bowling in the afternoon. ... was also the childhood home of Glenn Miller (a famous band leader if the youths amongst our readership are wondering). Sadly I can tell you no more since, this being Sunday in small town America, the museum was shut. And quite right too.

... Trucks struggling and brakes heating up on the downhill- escape lanes to slow down when the brakes failed. Loads of interesting rocks for James- I don't understand why but his i pad mini seemed more interesting......

Approaching Moab there was a huge thunder and lightning storm -epic. Will try to load Tom's video. We were on a flat tundra and it was an amazing show.

... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights. We headed north out of the park to Rt. 70 and it took us about half an hour to get to the Embassy Suites at the Airport. We got checked in and took our bags to the room. WOW! We have a suite with a bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and a little kitchenette. Larry left to take the car back to the airport where a shuttle from Embassy Suites picked him up and brought him back.
