... the rounds which kept the children interested, YMCA, Jump around, air guitar competitions, bowl out the headlights, card games, hilarious. We also got to see one of the San Francisco Giants (world title holders) play as he was training back from injury. Since this game we have been back a couple of times to watch and the children have both expressed an interest in playing. So we bought a bat to see if they could at least hit the ball. ... While the drive and the scenes of the coastline are undoubtedly beautiful, much of it was shrouded in gray as is typical in the Bay Area. My sleep could've perhaps been better, the air bed I was using seemed to collapse in on itself with ease, leaving me struggling to exit said mattress at about 6am. Onto the sofa after that but I didn't really sleep. In the day we didn't do too much in all honestly. ... the LightRail, a sort of train system that runs through San Jose, which stops right by Robert's place. Downtown San Jose was actually quite nice, it's a small city but has lots of nice restaurants and bars. I only spent an hour or two there because I had to get back home to meet Robert after work. In the evening we went to another town called Saratoga, apparently the 'Beverly Hills' of that area, to meet some of Robert's family friends ...
