... No doubt something to do with our national measures to keep the Ebola virus from our shores. Wendy has gone searching for a pen in her travel wallet. Woke up early this morning and we headed to some more factory outlets at Plesant Praire for a look I think Brad and Shani have now bought 5 pairs of shoes each. Went back to Renee's for lunch and then drove into the city to the united centre to park our car we paid $30 for priority parking so it was easy to get out after the game. ... good as ever. Had a quick walk back to the hotel, visited the rooftop bar, which is very nice, fab views, but barred to under 21s (boo) so decided to call it a day. ... biked about 8 miles or so down to Al's #1 Italian Beef, another Man vs. Food recommendation. Due to it taking us about an hour to get to the place because we got lost, we decided to just eat there rather then take it to the beach. We got dipped italian beef sandwiches and it was such a good ******* sandwich (pardon my french). We then got back on the bikes to work off the sandwiches and rode down to the 4 miles to the beach. ... ours visited Chicago for the first time a year before we did, and were very impressed with how friendly and helpful Chicagoans were.. We found the same - people would happily stop in the street to give us directions etc - maybe show us the map on their smartphone. Same with people we met in bars and restaurants - they would gladly offer us advice as to places to go, things to see and so on. Couldn't hope for more ...
