Started way back in Feb of this year when 6 of us all agreed to go to richard's and johanee's wedding and at the same time visit South Afica and take in England against SA at cricket. Sadly having returned to SA Johanee decided to call of the wedding in September.

Lorna stayed in with her friend Amy tonight and hd a few wines. I went into Nottingham to see my old work mates. I only went to see them at work in the afternoon for a couple of hours, but it ended up in the Canalhouse at 4pm for some alcoholic beverages. Good to see everyone again, just a shame I'm not going back to work there.

... something to pack! I have booked all my coach and flight tickets. I have bought insurance.. And today I started taking my malaria tablets. Haven't experienced any side effects just yet!! Will write more on Thursday I think!! And from then on I shall try to update this blog as often as possible, but I have been warned about the varying quality of internet in Tanzania, so don't expect too much!! Malin :)

As it was still my leaving do, I was wearing my Salvos suit - it was the only way I could get the rest of my belongings into my new tiny bag. Well, we did it. Left Nottingham after two weeks of tearful goodbyes and endless trips to the charity shops of Beeston. Feeling rather groggy after a cracking gig at Rock City the previous night we set off through the rain heading for the train station. First ...

... first place, and stayed in Athens like I was supposed to, then it never would have happened. If that is the case, then I have to be thankful for having my stuff stolen. It was, after all, just stuff. And when you start thinking like that, you have to be really careful because people are going to start calling you a hippie. And my hair is just too short to be allowed into their club.
