      ... the 'hitch' so hiking out in the dark under the silhouette of the Buttes (pronounced Beauts, not Butts:a mistake you only make once) and a canopy of stars bright enough to light the way was an unforgettable experience.

      ... for 7 years as a cook for monks in Nepal, and along with Nepalese can now speak 6 languages. We was a very genuine and sincere man and pretty bloody inspirational. He had many stories to tell and we were all ears. The next few days passed pretty quickly, with pack repairs, loud Irish, Columbians and Kiwis, as well as routine visits to all the local buffets.       ... memory, which I was suspecting, but found about very quickly into the trip. It required modifying a lot of what we did. but over all she was game. Blaire was a quiet trooper and the trip and having here on the trip was indeed a pleasure. I would travel with her again.
