    A drive around Ketchum to see what we had not the day before was interesting. We particularly liked the landscaping with evergreens around the houses. We are surprised how we missed this ski town in our many ski trips - probably because it was not a non-stop flight for us.     ... most of Nevada and Utah, it has been mostly flat, desert land and the train maintains a speed of about 80 mph. Soon we will hit Colorado and through most of the Rockies, which is most of the state, the train has to go about 30 mph on the turns and climbs. We will be in Colorado almost the entire day today and then it will flatten out and we will make better time through Nebraska and Iowa tomorrow.

    ... were attacked in 3rd gear, hazards flashing away like beacons in the night. After a couple of breakdowns on the way ( replaced the fuel line and fuel pump again) , we were able to hit the trails. Tristan headed out as if shot out of a cannon. We were so happy to be there.
