Back on two lane roads. Great scenery, lots of turns and twists and construction. When the road followed a stream, there were lots of rafts and kayaks. I had forgotten about open range - a cow kicked the pick-up ahead of me. At one time I toyed with the idea of taking route 191 all of the way from border-to-border. Entering from the northeast, we passed through some marvellous scenery: Black Hills National Forest, Devil's Tower which protrudes out of the surrounding valley, the forest-covered Bighorn mountains, free hot baths at Thermopolis, the wonderful Buffalo Bill Centre of ...

... the angel presenting him with the tablets in modern times, just about 150 years ago. Of course, Moses had the tablet thing too. Somehow it seems easier to accept as an important myth from 3000 years ago, while Smith clearly was sayaing this was no myth - he claimed he really got the tablets from an angel. On the other hand, people of the Mormon faith seem to be wholesome people, intent on living ...
