... most of Nevada and Utah, it has been mostly flat, desert land and the train maintains a speed of about 80 mph. Soon we will hit Colorado and through most of the Rockies, which is most of the state, the train has to go about 30 mph on the turns and climbs. We will be in Colorado almost the entire day today and then it will flatten out and we will make better time through Nebraska and Iowa tomorrow.

Well, I kinda knew things were going too well. After leaving Arches National Park(3pm) we were headed to Park City for a few days with a 4 hour drive ahead of us through 110 degree desert. At about 4pm, an hour into our drive, the check engine light came on and I realized the engine was overheating. I pulled over to find coolant had blew out all over the back of the RV.
