Our ending destination was at Price Canyon Recreation Area, which if you are looking for a small campground off map and in the middle of no where then this is the spot for you.

On the way we stopped in Afton and ate lunch at the Salt River Grill, I was in the mood for ...

Good fill as was feeling the sun. Now in Price. Kettie and I have prepared for tomo...big day in ...

... the fire came over the top of the mountain two years earlier. We drove through an interesting lava rock outcropping that looked just like one on the big island of Hawaii. We finally got to potato land across all of southern Idaho and were surprised to see all of the crops being irrigated. We did not think of this area as particularly arid but it must be We saw what appeared to be a few feed lots with ...

    The last few days

... experienced over the past few days, we left late at night. I-70 was fairly deserted when we got on, at times we were the onvehicle in sight. However if the interstate was deserted, route 128 into Moab was desolate. We went 1 hour without seeing another vehicle. No houses, no people, no cars and no help if we broke down. Fortunately, the rover didn't let us down and we arrived in Moab at 12:30 pm. We were grungy, but after a quick shower we were off to bed for a few hours...more to ...
