We passed by Park City which was the site of the Winter Olympics in 2002 hosted by Salt Lake City, before swinging east to our overnight stopover at Price. This area has many coal mines and is home to Utah Mining. Most photos were shot from moving vehicle so not up to usual ...

Good morning Farmington! The suspense builds as I head over to the window to see just how wet I am going to get riding today.......not at all! Nice and sunny out! My bike looks pretty wet from last night but it looks like I'll have a clear day of riding.

Quick little continental breakfast at the hotel plus the smallest cinnamon roll I have ever seen. Well, can't expect too much from a free breakfast, I guess. On the road with today's destination ...

... experienced over the past few days, we left late at night. I-70 was fairly deserted when we got on, at times we were the onvehicle in sight. However if the interstate was deserted, route 128 into Moab was desolate. We went 1 hour without seeing another vehicle. No houses, no people, no cars and no help if we broke down. Fortunately, the rover didn't let us down and we arrived in Moab at 12:30 pm. We were grungy, but after a quick shower we were off to bed for a few hours...more to ...

... of the summit. Made it to the top where I convinced a girl (Noelle - our Angel) working a closed gas station to open back up and sell me some more coolant. Luckily it was all down hill from there. We made it to the Freightliner Service center in Salt Lake at 1:15am. Checked into a hotel in downtown Salt Lake and turned off the lights at 3am. (First time I actually opened a bottle of wine for my first cocktail at 2am...) Waiting this morning to hear about parts availability. Wish us ...
