Interesting museum for alien and UFO enthusiasts and after recently reading a couple of books and watching some videos about where our food comes from I am not sure I trust our government anymore.

On the road again and we head for Farmington, NM. Up Rt 18 to 285, I-40, I-25 and Rt 550 and St Rt 64. We stopped in a rest area warning of rattlesnakes and hit our 2nd storm.

We roll in late and tired ...

... hard to stay within 5MPH of the posted speed limit thru towns. Most places within 2-3MPH. As we came into a little hole in the wall called Elida, Rhonda said this is how it's spelled, I failed to notice the forewarning, (so did my navigator), and before I could drop from about 74 to what I was supposed to be doing, the local sheriff had me. As I passed him, I told Rhonda I hoped he didn't pull out cause I was sure well over the speed limit. No such ...

... that I'm obviously not going to solve this mystery today so head out to Toddzilla's Mobile Restaurant (#1 in Roswell according to Tripadvisor) for my first hamburger since I left New York. It's a rather messy concoction with grilled jalapeno's and lots of cheese and the most memorable thing about it is that the chef himself uses a megaphone to announce when your order is ready and likes to scribble a personal message on the box.

Albuquerque, here we come.

... the U.S. I'm waiting for things to get a bit better so I can ride safely to Albuquerque. While in the wee conti. breakkie area I struck up a conversation with a nice Mexican man named Ricardo who was also waiting for the road to clear up. He delivers new big cab trucks to various places all over North America. His current load of three was bound for Calgary. Check the pics to see how he's delivering all three at a time. ...
