    ... Toast and Bacon with a side of fresh in the coach. Then, we'll head out for our guided tour of the King's Room at Carlsbad Caverns. We'll have dinner later in the day and return to see the "Bat Flight," as they leave the caverns for their nightly flight to fill up on insects. Rich suggested it and we all are interested too. I think that he has a thing for Batman, myself.

    ... around and she said there was a good one several blocks away. Now you know we like our vindaloo curries so when the menu said mild, medium, hot or Thai hot we of course chose the Thai hot - big mistake, it nearly blew our heads off! It was actually an excellent meal, delicious wonton soup, really freshly cooked main meal but soooo hot, well the nice young waiter did warn us.     ... Cowboy hats and boots as far as the eye can see. Hmmmnn maybe this is where I meet my sheriff badged man with a ranch.     ... thing I will say about Carlsbad is that they know their politicians. I snapped a picture of a building that says City Hall on one side and bar on the other side. I guess they don't want their politicians to stumble too far. LOL.

    On down the road past Artesia, NM where their claim to fame is this awesome looking bronze statue called "Trail Boss" smack dab in the middle of the road. If you miss this roadside attraction, you won't "miss it" ...
