      Interesting museum for alien and UFO enthusiasts and after recently reading a couple of books and watching some videos about where our food comes from I am not sure I trust our government anymore.

      On the road again and we head for Farmington, NM. Up Rt 18 to 285, I-40, I-25 and Rt 550 and St Rt 64. We stopped in a rest area warning of rattlesnakes and hit our 2nd storm.

      ... hard to stay within 5MPH of the posted speed limit thru towns. Most places within 2-3MPH. As we came into a little hole in the wall called Elida, Rhonda said this is how it's spelled, I failed to notice the forewarning, (so did my navigator), and before I could drop from about 74 to what I was supposed to be doing, the local sheriff had me.       I make an early start for Roswell because it's a 6-hour, 380-mile drive away and, frankly, I can't wait to get out of Wichita Falls.

      It really is amazing how big and empty the state of Texas is. If I didn't know any better (or didn't have Google Maps to make sure), I could easily believe I am in Saudi Arabia. Not that I've ever been there, but it's what I imagine some of it to look like.
