... got both bones and the lion watched her eat. We thought it would be the other way round. The next show was way over the other side so we got the skyride over. It was great. ... to the day. After a frustrating 45 mins on the motor shawn finally gave up. We decided to launch the boat and just use flippers to get us deep enough to fish. Upon realising how many sting rays there were, hundreds, we decided to stay in the boat and use the anchor to get us to deeper water, throwing then pulling us out. The place has original construction buildings in different styles, early Spanish style and early colonised wood and stuff. But, after much deliberation, I left the Zoo, SeaWorld, and all the other jazz for another time...this trip was about NOT having plans!!
I did get to Coronado Island, which is beautiful...if I had more time I would have spent it there. It is a great walking area, with some interesting shops and sights.

... a bit but the next morning we had to head back to LA because we were due in La Mesa, CA on Tuesday afternoon. Our plans were to visit my friends Sharon & Linda near San Diego and I knew they would be looking for us around 1 pm. Didn't happen. We called and worked out a different ETA and everything worked out OK.
