... the process is still very manual, After the tour it was tasting time! I've never been s big fan of sake, but this was clearly higher quality stuff than I have had before. They also broke out yuzu, strawberry, and tomato flavored sake. Loved the yuzu.

The highlight of the remainder of our time in Mashiko was, of course, the concert. About 1000 people piled into city hall which is also a very nice auditorium. The audience was very enthusiastic, ...

... each of us were able to create two pieces of pottery. This is the second time I have tried this, and as much as I appreciate pottery, the making of it completely baffles me. I can't cannot get that lump of clay to move the way I want it to.

... today which should be fun! The meals we have gotten so far have been terrific and chopsticks have gotten a little easier with practice. On Sunday we got to see one of the coolest things ever: Asimo. Asimo is a robot that was designed by Honda and we got to see him in action in a Honda museum! It's an eight minute clip and the Wi-Fi in our hotel sucks so it might not get up here but I'll try.

... of hours, we had lunch at a local restaurant in town, another outstanding bento box with noodles, soup, fish and a number of indecipherable items.

From lunch we took a short ride to Kegon Falls. We were able to view the falls from several observations spots and got some good group pictures that I will try and add later.
