Finally landed back into the warmth and tropical climate of the Bahamas in Nassau at around 2:30pm. Today is the last day of our incredible journey all around the world and it is very upsetting to have one more day to enjoy the experiences. Now we are going to check into the hotels and then head off take a climb on Queen’s staircase. The Queen’s staircase is an 102ft tall staircase with 65 steps that are very steep and covered with many plants. The steps were carved ...

... a myriad of accommodations to meet any budget or style, acclaimed restaurants, shopping, nightclubs and popular attractions. There is a huge Atlantis building there (like the Dubai one). We had a tour driver called "Tufffest" - you wouldn't want to mess with them.

This was my favourite island, and not just because of it's name. We stepped off the ship into the debilitating heat. I was looking forward to a nice air conditioned bus to show me around the island. Instead we were taken to these wired - totally illegal in Australia - open air taxis. (you will have to look at the attached photo cos it is difficult to describe) We went to a couple of lookouts, saw some iguanas then we ...

... Dee Dee and Mike stopped for a visit and then it was time for them to go to the jet skis. Tricia, Trey and Celeste were going parasailing, so we walked over to see them off and watch from the shore. I found a hammock and gave that a try. I almost fell out, but managed to stay in. I did lose my sunscreen, but David retrieved it for me. Apparently someone had lost their change because there were pennies and quarters under the hammock. Missy got ...

Deep sleep. I always seem to sleep really well on ships. Must be something to do with the motion of the ocean even though I cant really feel any movement at all. We are scheduled to arrive in Nassau in the Bahamas around 8.00 today. We have an excursion booked to The Blue Lagoon today so we have to be up an out as need to meet on the pier at 8.30. We have breakfast in the Windjammer before throwing some beach towels, iPods and cameras into a bag and heading ...
