Marriott Nashville Airport

We drove to Memphis, and decided to splash out on a night in a 12th-storey hotel room. We had a beuatiful view of the Mississippi river. Stunning. Beale street is full of bands and blues, and we sat and ate Cajun food to the strains of David Bowen. Quite different to Bowie! A large black man playing very jazzy blues with the help of a "loop station". Very ...

Let me just say that I found this tour HILARIOUS. It's not a TOUR as much as it is a show! You will see a few things here and there but really it's just for laughs. Historical Traveler Reviews Marriott Nashville Airport
We stayed here over the weekend and it was very nice, once we found it due to the adjascent freeway construction. The pool area is nice and the restaurant was OK. The bartender was awesome. All the staff were very cordial and friendly. Beds were very comfy with high-quality linens. About a 10-15 minute drive into downtown Nashville. Not much nearby the hotel in the way of restaurants, but if you need to be near the airport this is a good choice.
I planned a surprise birthday party for my wife at this Hotel. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. My parents and her parents arrived at the Hotel before we did. They were placed on a separate floor from our room to minimize the chance that we would encounter them before the surprise. When it was time to assemble in the restaurant for the surprise party -- the bellman took my parents down in the service elevator and through the kitchen so as not to run into us. Again let me state the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Needless to say we were able to surprise my wife with the party.
Swimming Pool/Whirlpool NOT in Service
The indoor/outdooe swimming pool and whirlpool were not in service during the Easter weekend (4/14-4/17) that we stayed. Not sure when the swimming pool/whirlpool will get back into service. If this is important to you, might want to call the hotel first. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good.
Great 4 day stay in Nashville
My husband and I visited Nashville for a long weekend - our stay at the Marriott was excellent - good service, great rate, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent food in the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here - it's a little tricky to find so get specific directions - but well worth finding. We are planning another trip to Nashville in 2007 and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I loved the bed, so comfortable. The room was beautiful. The towels were plush. The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful This is a great hotel.
Let me start by saying that this is NOT a 4 star property by any stretch of the imagination. While the lobby has been updated, the rooms are in major need of an update. The carpet, wallcoverings, fixtures, and soft goods all look dated.
Over rated not the best marriot
my husband and I stayed here in jan 2006, found it to dissapointing for a marriott hotel ,the room was very dated and was in desperate need of redecorating, bathroom was so small that they should have found it easier to clean had to wait quite a while for the water to get hot,in our opinion this hotel is vastly overrated
the shuttle does not run to time as our first evening we waited 45 mins at airport.
This is a terrific place to stay in Nashville. It is close to all of the things to do. The staff is very helpful. They filled all request quickly and provided excellent directions from the hotel to all of the attractions. The pool, spa, and gym are above average for hotels. This made for a wonderful get a way for my wife and I. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Room service was very quick and the food was prepared as ordered and was delivered hot.
Just returned from a family reunion and Marriott Nashville (Airport) was our host city and hotel. We were greeted at the front door by friendly, smiling faces as well as the front desk staff. This was 7 a.m. in the morning and we were allowed to check in . A friendly greeting was given and returned every time we passed through the lobby. The beds and pillows were very, very comfortable and we all slept like babies.
Excellent quality for price
This is a wonderful hotel and priced well. The rooms were very nice, but the best part for me was the indoor pool. My visit was during the Christmas season and you could see the big Christmas tree through the glass between the pool atrium and lobby. At night it was very beautiful. The only negative is that it is in a business park and therefore you must drive to shopping, dining or entertainment options (although not far). Nashville is a great city.
