... boats, the Jet d'Eau, and a beautiful mountain scape.

Lake Geneva has the clearest water I have ever seen in a lake. The lake itself is surrounded by the 2nd most populated city in Switzerland, so it is interesting that they have the ability to keep the water so clean and clear. Lake Geneva is also surrounded by very large snow covered mountains.

The coolest site in Geneva was the Jet d'Eau, which is basically a huge spout of water ...

Dinner: small Heiniken 5 swiss francs (about $5.15CAD) and a small green mango salad with 3 shrimps 17 swiss frances.- about 17.50 cad.

Lausanne: first impression aren't terrific, downtown sort of tawdry - MacDonalds was packed.
Trying to get used to dinner starting at 7,30pm!!

.....off to prepare my itinerary for tomorrow
