... me was they gave me a free upgrade. A room by myself, with a queen bed and on-suite. Who says I don’t stay first class? Really nice place, nice staff and good buffet meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Maafushi is a residential island (opposed to a resort island). That meant no beer (Muslim thing) although there was a boat moored 200 meters off shore that tourists could go to if they were desperate ...

... us by housekeeping each day when our room is made up and they make it up again in the evening for us while at dinner.
Each night they do a shark and ray feeding at the main dock where you arrive. Its incredible to see them up close and gracefully swimming in the crystal clear waters.
Early night tonight as the heat is really knocking Kelsey around. can't wait to see what the next few days bring during our two week stay.
