Travelling through norway keeps on amaze you from beginning to the end. Saw moose walking around in the wild. Every mountaintop you reach unveils a new and amazing view of this country.. A lake fotographed at the beginning shows new beauty at the other end.
the colours the landscapes are giving you are impossible to comprehend. Kristalclear water, blue, turquoise, green, ...

... the Norwegian army and Navy tried and failed to keep their ice-free, iron ore exporting port from the Germans. Naval battle in the harbour with considerable loss of life. Narvik was occupied from 1940 to 1945. Drove into town, stopped at the Tourist info for internet, and then took the cable car up to Narvikfjellet, for superb all around views of the fjord below and the fantastic snow capped mountains (again!!!) in every direction. Noted scary ...

At 22.20 on 18th Feb, in minus 6 degrees, in a remote area of Arctic ocean, we stood out on deck and watched what we came out here to see! AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, WONDROUS.... no adjective you care to give it can describe adequately this amazing phenomenon. What a day :-) Nb 19th feb. Amazingly I also managed to photograph the Aurora last night (thanks Bob)! Very slow shutter speed, resting on ships rail.... yippee! Can't show you as on the Lumix SLR camera not this ...

... wpierdziela pieczonego kurczaka az mu sie uszy trzesa, mlaskajac przy tym niemilosiernie. Mysle - udusze gnoja! Ale w koncu dokonal dziela zniszczenia, nawet sie zdziwilem, ze kosci zostawil w spokoju - ja tak makaronu nie wciagam, jak on tego koguta!
