    ... we started our return trip with a visit to the Arashiyama bamboo forest, which was very pretty but (somewhat expectedly) full of tourists. We also tried some Sakura flavoured ice-cream – sounds nice but tasted awful!

    ... on board. Also, they give you did no matter how long your flight. I got a chicken dinner with seaweed as the side instead of a roll. Best part was dessert - Brookshire chocolate blueberries.
    My flight landed at 8pm so I had booked a room at a hotel in Narita. It was a quick 15 minute train ride and have me my own room (which was basically just the double bed). Doing a little repaving I was good to go for my trip to Nikko the next morning. ...

    ... grinning ear to ear, "the toilet was crazy! I took a picture..." It's not often that your first picture from a trip is of a toilet, but ours would be.     ... are no bargains there, but tokyo tower is pretty cool!!! We then moved on to Shibuya and harajuku. Lots of people and lots of odd people... Enough said. We them went to the Tokyo Metro Gov. building and got a great view of fog. Finally we went to dinner with Masato and had a great visit. It was so good to see him. I hope he comes to visit soon. The trip has been great but really ready for the pool, some BBQ, and some days of not walking 12 miles. It will be nice to be lazy ...
