... taverna with its own deck chairs and lunch at the restaurant secures the deck chairs for "free!". A delicious lunch was followed by a few hours of just laying around relaxing with an occasional swim in the crystal clear, but somewhat cooler waters. The lunch was ridiculously expensive, but the deck chairs were free, so it all balanced out. ... trip to Paros was short, around 45minutes once we arrived we left the group again because we had different accomadation. We were picked up and taken along the water front around 5 minutes stroll from the centre of town and checked in. They offered us a different room for an extra 5euro a night and showed it to us before the one we had booked but after we saw our original room we kept it. Biggest one yet, balcony kitchenette bathroom. quite happy. no tv which is a shame ...

... heaven knows what it is like in peak season as this hydrofoil is pretty chockers! The hydrofoil was supposed to arrive in Santorini at 5:45pm but we got in a bit early. There wasn't much to see from the path, but this was the spot were most of the marble used for a ridiculous amount of famous sculptures and buildings, like the Venus de Milo and Napoleon's Tomb. It was all closed off when we were there so couldn't even go in to see some marble. Oh such a bugger. Onwards up the winding roads and we were soon in tiny Lefkes nestled in a valley in the hills.
