    ... route than expected. The bridge was only about 20 or so km away but now its taking me on two motorways, what the hell??

    Anyway I followed its route and sure enough it got me to this wonderful old bridge where I stopped and took a few photos. On approach to this bridge was a large sign saying "cafe ahead, open"!! Yes I thought, its time for coffee.

    ... places but hey it was clean and for one night it would do. We hadn't eaten a proper meal since that morning and we were starving!     Istria's interior is most famous for its hilltop villages. We visited Buzet, Motovun, Oprtalj, and Grasisce.
