... in open stretches of sandy beaches like the Fig tree bay. In a couple of photos I posted in my previous entry I forgot to mention that the fig tree still exists. If not the old huge fig tree but there are smaller fig trees in that specific area, trees that come from the old fig tree! They are looked after by the Community in Paralimni. They have them watered and lopped.

The main aim of my trip to Protaras is to have photos from the beautiful coves, and coasts and it is one of the reasons I did not stay in just one hotel. I spent several weeks by the sandy beach of the Fig tree in the past and I am after something different this time.
