... into details because the majority of anyone else couldn't care less about some British built beauty. I enjoyed every second of that ride and it was worth the hassles I am finding in Cyprus that I will get to in a bit.
During my connection in Athens, I had to pass through security and the bag screener there completely amused me. I hadn't even stepped up to the screening machine and he was already rushing me. I was going to take the liquids out of my ...
... tacky racy lingerie, all proudly displayed on clear plastic hangers. It's like the perfect dessert after shopping for your pleasures in Billa. Maybe our friend from Finland could stop by Sofia on her way home and try out her newfound "prettiness" as she called it.
I've left all that shopping madness behind and have made it to Larnaca, Cypress. I've got plenty of time here to explore and see what this desert island has to offer.
All packing and cleaning is underway !!! Only 36 or so hours left before we hit the tarmac at Larnaca !! Just need to get the dog wormed and de-flead (not that he has them !), groomed and then buy him a travel box for the flight !
Fingers crossed all our accommodation arrangements have been made for Athens and Samothraki !

This began one of the longest driving
days of the entire trip. If you get the chance look at a map of
Cyprus. We left Nicosia and headed to Agia Napa. En route we
stopped at a fishing village and several famous beaches. From there
we headed to Larnaka where following conflicting signs to the

There is no public funding for the shelter and Eleni relies on the odd donation, plus her pension cheque to keep the shelter going. There are a few wonderful volunteers who support Eleni in keeping the kennels clean, one of whom is my good friend Mary. I have visited the kennels a few times on my visit to help out with ...

Larnaca, Cyprus grossmanjh... with traditional dances, and the very next morning we were given a tour. I myself had the chance to see many of the sights that on previous trips with my husband could not have, and the reason is because in Cyprus they drive on the right side, while in Greece on the left, so it is a bit risky to attempt and rent a car. The next day the group was driven to the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia and were taken to the centre of the town....something like ...
PARALIMNI, Cyprus greekcypriot... So, the day that I found out about this, I was so happy that I spent 3 hours walking to every hotel or hotel appartment in the area getting information and leaflets. There are other hotels even better than the CAPO BAY HOTEL,as well as a number of great Hotel Apparments in the same area which are much cheaper, and much recent built. So, on my next trip to Cyrus I am surely going to spend a week here next to the FIG TREE BAY, which is the best area in PROTARAS.
Protaras, Cyprus greekcypriot... This is a sport I love, and this is the reason why I am here. The beach is called MAKENZIE, and it is just 800metrs from the city centre of Larnaca. It is a place which actually looks like a small park at the end of the city, just 3 km from the airport. It has palm trees, and many nice restaurants for a night out. Centrally located, and ideal for tourists who want to enjoy real Mediterranean holidays!
Larnaca, Cyprus greekcypriot... alone, and I am going to spend some days at mom's house but most of the time I am staying at my sister's apartment right next to the beach. I don't have anything special to write, except that the days are nice and relaxing. I've got my friends and classmates in Larnaca, so we meet and have fun mostly in the evenings. Most of the time I am out on the beach, which is extended to about 8 kms. The waters are nice and warm, and ...
