    ... We will take them with us today. It is not so warm that we can't leave them in the truck with the windows down for awhile and then find a place to walk them. Some of the wineries are even dog friendly.

    So far the trip has been just what I wanted-some rv lazy down time and some good time with friends which is why we planned the trip down here. Can't beat the sunshine ...

    ... to it. We were seated just on the patio shaded by trees but the hotel's pool was exposed to the diners. Food was beautifully displayed and delicious. I had the beets salad followed by sole tacos. Very light and flavourful.

    For dinner, we ate at Eiko, a Japanese restaurant just next to Andaz. Very good and fresh food. But Napa Town Centre in the evening was very quiet. In fact, compared with St Helen Main Street, Napa Town Centre is very quiet even in the daytime.

    ... were almost in Tuscany. Nice (slightly) oaked C******nay. We could see the workers bringing in the grapes. Next stop was Black Stallion, an impressive winery with a large statue of a prancing horse at its entrance. I went to try three different Zinfandels, all pretty powerful, but the Mont Rosso won it. A nice touch here was an educational strip of vines, so we could compare ...

    Another lovely day, looks like we are in for another hot day they weather people are saying 28 or 29. We are going out to spend the day wine tasting and touring wineries...right after we have a good long workout to brush some of the Bubbles out of my brain :-)
