    After arriving in Guangzhou, we quickly got directed to a counter for those that would be making transfers. We had been told by Devona earlier in our trip that China Southern Airlines would provide a free hotel room for you if your layover was more than 8 hours.     ... excited to show us round, but they grudgingly let us have 15 minutes to grab a shower and get changed (we had been wearing our travelling clothes for close on 26 hours).     ... br> Every day at the school, someone stands at the gate to greet people. A nice idea I think. On Monday it was my turn, so I basically had to say 'good morning' to as many people as possible who were walking through the gate.
