... transport. We were all very confused but trusted in the fact that they were doing their best, so we waited for a long time, but to no avail. By now it was midnight and we had to find a hostel in Guangzhou which took a while but we managed it - with hopes of getting on a train the next morning, we went to bed. ... Yesterday in the shower (not me honest, its all lies!) For me, the "Post Travel Blues" hit in the form of an unshakable cold. The weather was miserable. Two weeks of nonstop smog and grey sky. ... with them the next day. I had a heavy heart thinking and wondering what their day would be like without visitors. :(

In the afternoon we did some local sightseeing which include a trip to the "beach" (actually a concrete park with sand in the middle of town) and a trip to the mountain where we had great views of the city.

... to tell the driver we were at the wrong place. Then we learned that they built a new orphanage. Amity's old orphanage building is still there and sits behind the new building. The old, original orphanage building is unoccupied and very run down. We were able to see the old original building and recollect where Amity once lived on the third floor.
