... and centre on the mezzanine (dress circle, Americans have trouble calling things by the correct name. In Macy's the mezzanine is also know as the 1 1/2 floor in the lift which confuses them to no end.) Gigi turned out to be pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised. I only nodded off a couple of times in the first half, or I think it was only a couple of times but I stayed awake for the whole of the second bit. There was a big deal about the lead actor playing Gigi, seems she starred ...

Today was a Central Park day. The day started with a visit to Wollman Rink where Hannah and I demonstrated our improved ice skating skills for Andy (thanks to our many visits to the Medibank Icehouse in Melbourne). ... photos of both fountains/waterfall memorials for each of the towers and where they stood before heading into the museum. We only had minor hiccups with our tickets but soon we had it sorted and headed in. There was an app that you could download which talked you through some of the exhibits. At multiple points during the tour of the museum my body was overcome with goosebumps recalling the images of that day that are so ...

The final day of our Fall Tour. We had walked up and down 5th,6th, 7th Avenues and Broadway too and by the final day we were ready to get back home. Steph went in pursuit of things quilting, fabric and stuff; I went in search of the incomprehensible at MOMA, Museum of Modern Art. MOMA is another fascinating museum, vast, relaxed and ...
