She drew a really cute picture of Gene and me. Veronica made me a lovely Christmas card. She wished me a Merry Christmas and a Happy Life. Jelly and Molly made a 3D picture of Liu Gao School. Annie, a Chinese English teacher at this school, invited us to attend and make a presentation to two of her classes. She studied English in Cincinnati in 2011. A former student of hers, Kevin, picked us up and drove us to the school, along with Annie. He picked Kevin for his English name because he liked the basketball player Kevin Durant. When Gene ...

... of those instances where a student's life has been touched, and had she not given me the note, I never would have known. It made me feel good. I used an American flag with my 'Independence Day' lesson. A student of mine, John, told me he doesn't know where to find an American Flag. He would like one. So I told home when I finished all my lessons, he could have mine. It was a flag from the Dollar Store. He thanked me very much. This was three weeks ago. I saw ...
