      ... some extra research into tomorrows long journey and decided to stop at the bus station on the way home to see if we could find a shortcut. There is a ridiculous shortage of taxis in this city, in India they were begging you to get in, here they really aren't bothered. Fnally we arrived at the station to find that no one spoke english, a sweet girl in the queue tried to help as best she could and explained there were no buses to guilin from here. so back to plan a.       ... is getting us tired a bit already! Quite hard to get a taxi with 4 people and backpacks. Turns out that all taxis in Haikou have this gas tank in the back of the car, so you barely have any space in the boot to put your bags in. After the taxi driver helping us, we finally got them all in. Now trying to buy train tickets to Sanya, all signs are in Chinese and there is no sign of any English speaking people. So we decided that Miriam would ...

      Quite hard to get a taxi with 4 people and backpacks.
