    ... first time outside of North America I have never felt more worldly and smart. Some of the world travelers i've met just do not have basic common sense and they possess an ignorance for other cultures (which was the big shocker for me).     ... that she is going to be my saving grace while i'm here. She helped me check into the hotel which is so odd because it's funky and modern, but a lot of the appliance are rusting and broken....and it's confusing me.

    Laura, myself, Davis, and Mr. Mystery Chinese man all went to lunch down the street from my hotel to some cute little place. It had gold lettering and Chinese people inside eating, that's about as specific as I can get about this place ...

    ... upstairs and recheck in. We upgraded our seats to exit row. Upon going through the immigration again we found a place to grab a quick bite before we head to the gate.     ... the waterfront where it opens up and their were Pepsi umbrellas everywhere. I guess they aren't about to argue with free shade. Construction over here seems to hit the skids a lot. On the one hand there are some great roads and beautiful skyscrapers but on the other there seems to be so much abandonment mid stream.
