    I woke up to the doorbell, which I wasn't happy about until I found out that it was the driver delivering breakfast. Yeah! We had bowza, which is a steamed bread ball with a filling. These ones had pork and onions. Sounds like a strange breakfast, but it is yummy!

There was also exhibits on the first inhabitants of the area (the Ba people), and on the other ethnic groups (folk groups). A big museum.     ... the coffins there....Eventually, we reached a tributary of the gorges and again transferred boats, this time into a very small boat affectionately named a Pea Pod boat as it was shaped like a pea pod. This was owned and paddled by a group of five men, one of whom was the captain and steeried from the back.
