It was such a lovely day so I decided to go for a walk at 3.30. I walked down to Changle Lu Xi and walked to the end where it meets the city wall. I paid 50RMB to get up on the wall and walked all along westwards, past Mendong (an area they are refurbishing ...

I seem to be at a supermarket every day, and that is a headache (along with trying to create meals)! Steve is continuing with the job he started in Australia, so no surprises for him. He is happy now that he finally has an office. I am happy that he no longer has easy access to soft drink, ...

... to it since they began school, and were so excited! There are 2 buses that come through Masterland. The school Mums (all expats) stand around and chat once the kids have boarded the buses. I have been introduced to lots of people from many countries (I record names and recognizable features so I can remember who’s who), and feel very welcome. They are all friendly and helpful. Some of the Mums go walking after drop off in the mornings. I might join them next ...
