    ... uni appeared and he joined us for lunch at the canteen beside our hotel. At this one you can pay in cash whereas at the others we tried you have to use your student cash card which we don't quite know how to top up yet. We had some time back at the hotel chatting before we went to meet up with Henry and the other Chinese students.     ... a bit sore and we were ready for dinner! Back at campus we went to a large supermarket to explore and to get some water and snacks for between classes. Then we returned to the rooms briefly to check if there had been any email from Tom (our Edinburgh uni professor who organised the trip and who was coming to Nanjing tonight) however there were no plans to meet.
