It's been such a long journey I’m at the point where it’s easier to count the days left than days stayed. All I need to do is blink and another week has gone by. As of now, I’ve less than six weeks to go before I return home, and I’m just worried my remaining days will fly just as quickly.

After the chaos of the fairground, we came across a man made lake which at sunset was rather beautiful (even with a little toddler going for a little tinkle in the water in full view of everyone around him).

We tried to hire a boat, but there were too many people on the lake and there we no boats available and so we gave up and went into town for dinner. While on the bus we started ...

... in time for us to go to the Tianmen Fox Fairy show - "the world's first alpine valley live-action musical theatre.

I loved the show. I really did. Despite it absolutely pouring, and not understanding very much (even the English subtitles the majority of the time!) it was absolutely spectacular. They advertise that they have over 600 cast members, and it wouldn't surprise me. There was a choir that was about 100 strong, who had to stand through the whole thing, ...
