We woke up early in the morning in order to drive out to the ancient villages of Anyi county. By doing this, we missed the crowds and also, I caught my train home right on time.
This is an area of the province where they grow rapeseed plants, same as in Saskatchewan. Leona was surprised that I had seen them before. Lots of people would stop on the side of the road and take pictures in the fields.

For dinner, Leona's mother in law made some marinated pork, dumplings, lotus root and some sort of leafy vegetable. Delicious.
Then we went out to see the giant musical fountain. The biggest one I ever saw. When we got back I was so tired and went right to bed. I took a video but it didn't work.

We had no plans to do anything here except catch a bus; the problem is that our bus to-day doesn't leave until 3:40pm, so we just wandered a bit. Nanchang is by no means a lovely city, but there are few cities in the world that are. It's certainly not worth the disdain it received from others when I told them I was coming here.
Charlie Feathers dismissed the class early and walked quickly to the highway. There were many taxis which did not stop. The sun was hot and the air was thick. After a long time a taxi stopped. There was a boy and girl already in the car and they looked at her curiously. The driver dropped them off near the west gate of the university and Charlie was finally on her way to the airport.
