Today was relatively clear so I decided to go up the Canton Tower and look at the view.

There are all sorts of different options, including a ride around the outside of the tower in small cars on a track - not for the faint -hearted! I left that excitement for now, and stuck to the simple observation deck ticket.

As you may expect, days like Mother's Day and birthdays can be a bit tough when you are 5000 km away from the people you love, and 1 of the local teachers in particular realised this and invited me out to dinner with her and 2 of the other local staff.
