... anchor pulled all the chain back out again, but all of a sudden over the roar I heard with great relief Ginette yelling ‘Go Go Go its up!’. I confirmed it was, not wanting to run over the chain dooming us, and the sense of relief was palpable above that other terrible emotion – fear.

With the anchor up we made way past the other three boats, all struggling but at least slightly further offshore than us, to the marina entrance. The drama wasn’t yet ...

... and terrifying.

We were hoping to go to the National Park which sits at the base of Mount Kinabalu, but most of this was closed following the earthquake the week before (thanks to some naked Westerners, apparently). So on our last day, we productively sat in and ate ****** food and watched films, which is really a pretty boring end, but a whole loaf tin of chocolate muffin means I'm totally okay with that.

... vivid yellow, green or purple. See small fish I recognize such as the parrotfish, angelfish, damsel, cleaner fish, zebra-striped fish etcetera. All in all a nice day of mild exercise topped off with a big Malaysian buffet, topped off with a delightful array of desserts ranging from cakes, to chocolate covered with shredded coconut, and fresh cut mangoes. Tomorrow I pick up a little culture at the Cultural Village.

... for a year and working with Milo addict Josh, I had yet to try it. For those of you who don't know what Milo is it's like chocolate nesquik but is drank hot and cold and is probably better than nesquik. So I had my first cup of Milo and then by the next day I'd had 5 cups! It's amazing! And did I mention it was FREE?! Anyway so the next couple of days we spent just getting to know KK and getting some much needed laundry done, looking around and enjoying ...
