... night card playing this time. Aust swept the series of "********" against NZ. Woke up in Turkey! Marmaris is in a spectacular location. Hills everywhere. We met our driver who appeared to be fairly new to the task of driving. Staying on the right side of the road was a challenge. But a great guy with perfect English. He had two daughters, loved mountains and was hard if hearing. So we got on like a house on fire. En route we passed through an avenue of huge eucalypts. ...

Our last breakfast. The waiter Buddy was back from his break so though we said we would see him at lunch we knew we probably would not. He would only be upset when we did not give him a tip. He was OK always a friendly welcome but his table saving antics were a bit OTT. We wandered around the town a bit, Barry got another Turkish shave, but not such a good one as the first who was too busy. We bought some Turkish delight for work and for Joanne ...

Then the 1.5 hour ride back to the ship. Tomorrow is Kusadasi.

A leisurely get up but in time for breakfast. Then we took the 11am ferry to Tunruc, an idilic bay our rep had said. Not so much so when you come from the West Country. The boat ride was nice though. We wandered quickly through the village, lots of the same shops but no salesmen calling out to us constantly. We stopped for a beer at a waterfront cafe then caught the first taxi back to the hotel. Another nice boat ride. Back in time for lunch. I tried out the lady in ...

No alarm, and the plan to miss breakfast. We still woke around 9 though but had a leisurely get up, missing breakfast. We had a restful lying in the sun day on the hotel beach. Lunch was chicken donner and chips at the snack bar. At the end of the day I was getting dressed to leave the beach, Barry was just reading a page and a half before we could go. As I pulled my shorts up I saw the bee on my thigh just to late, oh so ...
