... also really neat to see what the locals were growing in their fields including a lot of fruit, almonds and root vegetables. We truly were on the backroads of Costa Rica. There was a few tough hills at the end when you where already beat out from the heat and rough roads. We both made it to the finish, but very tired. ... to pick it up again, I noticed hundreds of little spiders crawling around it. Disgusting! The next morning, we went to check out activities. Everything was really overpriced! The town also didn't really appeal to us and it was raining so we decided to just write off our experience here and move on to our last destination in Costa Rica, Monteverde. To get here involved two buses and a boat.
