... the river to the waterfalls. The entrance looked like the beginning of an abandoned house. However, sure enough, there was a very nice, secluded waterfall with nobody else around.

On the drive back we saw three monkeys! We saw two on the trees just next to the road and then another large one just hanging out on a telephone line.

Crossing into Costa Rica was easy peasy..

Lots of buses to Tilaran, headed for Volcan Arenal for some walkies.. shame a lot of things very expensive to get to so didn't get to do all we planned, got invited to a finca and a bull riding competition by a french costa rican who had a finger bitten off by an iguana last year..

... very experienced I didn't see them check their own air once so it was probably pretty lucky I had. Once a few of them had got down to 900 I sent them up to the surface and tried to track down Guayo again, who I had briefly lost with people taking photos. I did however get treated to a white tip reef shark when I was on my own, my first in four weeks or more! I managed to find the rest of the group and ended up going up soon after as I didn't have that much air left thanks ...
