    ... was the whip cream on the pie. Now, don't get to excited as this is Egypt style and as we were told at Nuweiba Port. "Expect the unexpected in Egypt". And, how true he was. The beach was nice. The favorite place to have dinner was the Funny Mummy. With the exception of two nights, this was the meal of choice.

    Our road brought us to the Sinai peninsula, a place renowned for its beautiful vistas. Big desert plains intermixed with rocky hills and mountains breaking up the view. Moving closer to the coast the scenery changed. We moved down canyons, with sharp red rocks towering up around us. Even for those us having seen the Grand Canyon and many other famous rocks, it was an impressive sight.
