... catching the 10.30 AM express train which took us through the valley to Hakuba in just over an hour. The trip was extremely scenic, travelling through a number of small towns surrounded by mountains on each side. As we passed by forest and lakes, I remember what I really enjoyed out of travelling – lakes and mountains. It was most enjoyable train ride.
