With time rapidly dwindling I went down to Banbury way this afternoon to visit my brother et famille before I leave, taking the opportunity to say goobye to two young nephews - one of whom was able to appreciate some of the implications of what I am doing, "But what if you get sick?" he asked. :-)

Back up to Stoke in the late evening. Last day of preparations tomorrow.

... A new form of fly away hair mine was fly everywhere.
I am dreaming of sitting on my parents decking in the morning sunshine eating a whole fresh mango (juice dripping type - yum) for breakfast reading the morning paper (prob be the Geelong Addy as thats Dad's usual, which I don't luv but at least its not footy season so I won't have to read just about the Cats). Bring it on I say.

I'm home...... ....its not as bad I i thought it would be getting back, although It as only been on night!!! The next mission is to get a job asap and start the next chapter of my life.... ...my new temporary mobile number is 07929313940, so if anyone wants to catch up give me a call.

Woke hearing the ringing of church bells from Holy Trinity for the 6am and 8.30 am services – such a lovely sound!!. Lay in and read for awhile before heading out to Kenilworth Castle (about 20 mins. away) with Stephen & Michele. Cost 4 pounds 95 for me and 2 pounds 50p for Nathan (total $17.50)

... and we had a great view of course over fields and little villages.













We did heaps of mud and stiles and Stephen entertained us with two face plants. We eventually found our way to the village of Weston-sub-Edge. It had a 13th ...

Brad called & woke me up at 6.30 am... looked outside and there was snow on the cars and rooves.... so pretty. Today was 3 degrees but minus 3 with the wind chill. Stephen and Michele had things to do today so we were entertaining ourselves. We had a lazy start and Nathan did some homework. It was freezing out today and so cold that Nathan just wanted ...

... we were quite damp. It was fun though and pretty walking across fields with stone walls and through forests.













Of course, there was a lot of slippery mud. Stephen's shoes didn’t have a lot of grip so there were always expletives coming from ...

... the two, had holes in the walls called murder holes to pour boiling water or shoot from to kill them.








We then climbed up and walked along the Ramparts and Towers along the whole front wall. It was so windy and cold. All day we were freezing and our feet were numb. It was about 2 degrees C.

Woke up 3 am and dozed until 6am and then got up. Nathan slept until 8 am. Michele made us all porridge for breakfast. This morning we did a 2 hour walk around Stratford with Stephen. We went to Holy Trinity church where Shakespeare was baptised and buried. We had a look inside and read some of the old tombstones. We walked along the river and saw swans and ...

... Castle is huge and imposing. We walked around cute little streets and went to a tearoom and had tea with scones and jam. Nathan had a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Took a photo of this really crooked shop. Drove the 1-1/2 hours to Stratford. Nathan fell asleep the last ½ hour. Stratford looks very cute in the dark. Stephen is walking distance to the river Avon and town centre and lives at 22 ...
