      ... by the tsunami and still has hotels on the cliffs completely empty which had been battered by the storm, its quite sad really but the people have done really well to get the place back up and running for any one that visits, as not a lot of people do Nai Yang is the place to visit for secluded beaches stretching miles and a bit of piece of quiet too.       On arrival back to Phuket, Kat had one more day of theory and route planning before a 7 day liveaboard trip. The route plan was pretty adventurous – to try to get almost to the Malaysian border, two of the days we'd be covering over 50 nautical miles.       ... to the bar girls, lady boys and the ping pong girls. The pool has a heap of young blokes making a noise, Jump ( the barman) has to quieten them down a bit.
      Cocktails at the front bar beckon and Dale and I have a blue one, I can't remember the name of it but it packs a punch, Pauline has a different coloured one that looks equally as dangerous- while we wait for Genelle and Mark.

      We've had an amazing day today! We were up early to go to the market, which they do every Sunday. It's huge! There were all kinds of good stalls with fish and meat, sweets, sweet drinks (apparently everything in Thailand is either incredibly spicy or incredibly sweet!), and lots if clothes and shoe stalls.       ... the water was deep. We swam and suntanned until the sun took over the beach and so we walked back. This time when we got to the road we were picked up right away. The people here are very friendly! I really appreciated the ride as it was practically the heat of the day. When we got back we just relaxed in the hammock until this really obnoxious old American guy came with his "bodyguard and transvestite".
