... beach for 100 baht - 1 pound each, we were too hot to walk and it was further than five minutes. The beach was beautiful! Clear blue water, and it was so quiet there. We found a spot, had a one hour sunbathe and dip in the sea - which was amazing! It was so clear, so shallow, and so warm. Then we had some lunch on the beach - I had Paenang chicken curry and rice which was nice, tasted like a korma, and Jonny had pork with spices and rice which he liked. It came ...

... originally. Phi Phi is darling- has a lot of character. There are no cars or motorbikes allowed, only walking and 2 wheel bikes. the roads are all "block" and are more walk ways. Luggage and supplies get carried around in big wheelbarrow like contraptions. You really have to get out of the way when they come through. We found a nice little place with balcony and wifi for 500 bt a night.

Made the 2 hour journey from Krabi to Phuket. Met a funny old guy on the shuttle that was from SF, and is now living in Chiang Mai. Funny how you travel across the world and always end up meeting people from home.
Staying in one of the northern Phuket beaches, trying to avoid the madness of Phuket town, while still checking this place out. And I had heard there can be waves on this side of the island. ...
