Nagoya, Aichi, Japan yurekiosdkui... they could. The girls were ESS students at Nanzan Jr College in Nagoya. Apparently this was something their class did to help their English skills. We actually tried to ask most questions in Japanese and got our answers in English, so it was good practice for both parties. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot with Fumika and friends (can’t remember their names; gomensasai, tomodachi).

Went back to ryokan after the castle and ...
Nagoya, Chubu, Japan chrisfite... umano a parte i monaci, beh, e' stato davvero suggestivo. Nagoya, Chubu, Japan cavallette... to see bloody SMAP every three or four minutes. Then, just after the stroke of midnight, we were off to the shrine. Thankfully, the small shrine in that end of Kariya is a humble one and - though much more crowded than usual - it turned out to be an enjoyable, festive experience. A huge ...
Nagoya, Japan xerius... shrine, dancers, taiko (japanese drums) players etc. Once the offerings had been presented to the shrine the madness began. The cold sake was handed out, the taikos were playing, people sucking on very interesting lolly pops! We got amongst the festivities, forced the cold sake into us and set about praying for our womens health (note - no praying for fertility yet). In doing this we prayed and threw our yen into the Vagina rock and then had to ...
Nagoya, Japan vkwiig... accidents we have had around the house and a man told us about a time when his brother was jumping off the roof of their house and he was `standing below waiting to receive him`. It`s soooo funny! People work so hard here it`s really sad. Most only have one day off every week. So, on Saturday people in my classes will say `have a good weekend` to each other as they are leaving ... what they really mean is `have a good Sunday`. I guess some have ...
