    ... so we were prepared and keen to see everything in real.

    And so it turns out it’s not just two fat guys bumping into each other ;-) Just kidding!! You have to give it to them and respect this sport and these athletes. Initially, I was wondering why Philippe wanted us to see this, but I have to say I do not regret one minute of it.

    We stayed focused and interested for a whole 6 hours watching the guys (and gods) wrestle ...

    ... it back to the city to visit a complex Phil had heard was good with a high glassed roof area filled with water and lots of restaurants etc. Nope, you would consider the portrayal a little over rated.
    We ate some very average italian food or starve and then walked a further 1.5 kms back to the hotel. We ended up passing thru the 'girly' district on this final walk.

    ... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed.     ... it woudl be something different. Fred saw it was green and made a comment about it being mint. One bite later his face was hilarious! A special roll is just rice and seaweed rolled around a bunch of wasabi. Tyler didn't seem as surprised since he went second but it definitely hit him too! Somehow the three of them finished the entire thing off. Overall it was a beautiful dinner and we were all surprised by the impressive amount of Japanese that Luke knew after only being in ...
