We came back from the beach and popped in the Internet cafe so Gary could check all his birthday wishes, he had quite a few and would like to thank everyone who sent him emails or updated Facebook... he had some great ecards too.... he would also like the thanks the Dejeans for pressing the beggin' button :0)



Mexican was Gary's choice of Birthday meal, he has had a craving ...

... is a duty free island. This is very good news for alcohol. Between the 7 of us a bottle of whiskey, bottle of rum, cups, mixers and candles cost us about 2 pounds fifty. Set up camp on the beach for some Ring of Fire. After the spirits were polished off me, Jamie and George went to get some beers. At 2 Ringgits a can though it was quite a bargain so we bought every single can of Tiger (35 in total) in the fridge and returned to the beach. Great day.

Then we walked down the beach to get a closer view of a beautiful lighthouse. We were greeted by a pretty stray female dog but since we weren't sure of rabies and all, we had to keep our distance. We thought she might be hungry so we ran back to some shops to grab some food for her...Indian was all they had...but by the time we got back, she was no where to be found. jetty to find out that you can only access Bat Caves via boat, so we
decided to make our way back to Chenang beach. As you can see on the
map we have drawn a blue line of our route for today. We left at 10am
and arrived back at 7pm. We managed to make it the whole way around
the island. We managed to make it in one piece, we didnt get too
lost, and Bryden and I havent torn shreds off each other yet ...

Everyone I met left the island but due to how cheap it is here & how much money I spent in Thailand I decided to stay on, now have new roomies & currently I am the only girl. We all went out last night & my god did we get drunk, 7 of us drinking a litre of Vodka ...
