... rest of the trip there was wonderful though, the waterfall was beautiful, and the seven natural pools it creates (hence the name) were lovely and cool, so I spent a while with my feet dipped in. We also went to Black Sands Beach, where I nearly lost my flip flops, and got a bit freaked out by massive crabs in the sea. All in all, a lovely day, if you remove any interaction with ...

... Although I didn’t see any crayfish, I did see a spotted ray, a HUGE moray eel and got caught in a school of tuna which was just an incredible experience. Unfortunately, I also got ‘bit’ by a sea urchin and I can tell you I’ve never felt pain like that. We got to the bottom of Seven Wells and realised the hardest challenge was yet to come, the hike up to the top in midday sun with a very steep incline. We left the bikes at the bottom and began the ascent, with several much needed breathers on the way up. When getting to the top at first we were slightly disappointed as it wasn't the flowing gushing water we had expected ... can only get......

... to the hotel and, about 20 minutes later we arrive there. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room.   We should have been feeling verey tired but seem to have "second wind"  so decide to unpack a few things , take a shower, and go and find a drink to welcome in the New Year.   We sit on sun beds on the beach and watch the fireworks and the hundreds  Chinese lanterns which light up the sky!     .......our day did eventually get much better!    ...
