Oh jee wat gaat de tijd toch alweer snel! Voordat je het weet ben je weer thuis.... Ben inmiddels griekenland uit, in Bulgarije beland. Ben te gast bij een vriend van iemand die ik Griekenland ontmoet heb, ook een griek trouwens (waar ik nu ben). Erg gastvrij! Heel relaxed allemaal, we hebben veel gemeen ook. ... that I hope we will visit either tomorrow or Thursday (Wednesday we have a day trip scheduled to see other parts of Bulgaria beyond Sofia). We finished our beers in a large, beautiful tree-filled park with a lake surrounded by weeping willows. There are many tall green trees in the city - which I absolutely love. ... really pleased with it and had spent a long time frothing it so Mikey bravely downed his. I poured mine into a handy flower pot where unfortunately it made a very obvious brown pool which wouldn't soak in. We had to dig around with a fork on the sly while the waitress went into the kitchen, and eventually it disappeared! Setting off, we were pleased it was yet again great weather and excited about reaching a new country. 5 minutes into the day however ...

The trip started with a bit of excitement, when the wheel came off the car in front and continued along the road on its own. Luckily, our fantastic driver James managed to miss the car as it ground to a halt and also the truck travelling the other way missed the wheel. Great relief all around.

Last night the villagers decided to out on a show for the mad people in the big orange truck
