I confirmed my flight 24 hours in advance. But this morning, when checking into Lufthansa, with my confirmation email, I learned of the pilots' strike today. Timing is everything! Lufthansa has rerouted me with only a 2 hour delay. I'm waiting to board my new flight aboard British Airways, flight 891 to Heathrow airport at 1430. I arrive in London at 1555, then depart from the same terminal at1700, bound for Boston. Never a dull moment! With luck, I'll be home at 1910, local time ...
