    ... in to the museum - Sami, Viking, and more recent history. Highlight was the Overhogdal Viking tapestry, (800-1100 AD) thought to pre-date the Bayeux tapestry. Beautiful. Wish we had had a second day to absorb all of the museum exhibits.

    ... the Moose Garden, a commercial site for breeding moose for educational purposes. We had our own private tour. Stroked the 4 moose calves, then INTO the enclosure with the 3 cows and 3 bull moose, all tame enough to be stroked and patted, while we learnt so much about the whole breeding and rearing process. Very bonding experience for all, especially Julia, who would have taken one home, I am sure.

    ... Storsjon. We saw fresh snow on the mountains towards Norway! (This is midsummer!)

    ... the hydroslides then finally it was time to head up stairs to the sauna’s.

    We then spent the next 4hours moving from one sauna to the next, it was fantastic. We went into 5 different sauna’s all differing in temperatures. We even spent a bit of time in the outdoor spa, which was surrounded in snow.

    So I had some period mishaps on the way to Ostersund on two out of three pants. I dont care if you think that.s gross. it.s what happened suck it up.
