... Ellie and I were reunited and we walked out and cristal was waiting for us - sans sign sadly- where she regaled us with her own story of adventures with the rental car and the obtaining of the GPS. She led us to a point and we reunited with Emily whom had bought us all mars bars and we were finally adventuring! The gallant Emily drove to the yha in Auckland and we parked our car and went off to explore! So despite a few hiccups all was well and the adventure was ready to ...
... Caves is a main local attraction we visited on a day in town. Built and run completely by volunteers, this little gem brings all the fairy tales and nursery rhymes to life. We drove around the waterfront/seawall up to Bastion Point, then had lunch at the Sky City Tower which overlooked the bays and islands, penninsula, etc. I wish I had a longer time to spend in Auckland.
I will most definitely go back!
