We get through customs easy enough, we brought some food with us which is inspected but they don't remove it which means dinner that evening is sorted! We jump on a shuttle bus to Mount Eden, a suburb just south ...
I didn't do a lot yesterday as it was rainy and cold, so I won't give a whole page to it. I had my dinner with sparrows, that was the most exciting part haha. And finished my Christmas shopping! It was a very surreal experience, but brilliant. Whilst ...
... to cross the ferry between the north and south islands
(between Wellington and Picton). A beautiful 3 hour ferry crossing,
we enjoyed the ride, spending most of our time on the top deck
looking out for sea life and birds. We saw lots of birds and possibly
an albatross on our journey back but failed to see dolphins/whales
which was a shame. The last hour on the ferry back to the north was
also spent holding on fir dear life with HIGH winds ...
