So last week in a single day 1) A client asked how my bowel movements were ('textbook, thanks') 2) I was asked by the security guard on my way out how much my salary was, how much rent I paid and how much cash I had on me; and 3) a beggar jumped into the taxi next to me while I was leaving and the driver just drove on as he continued with some close-quarters begging.
