... exactly where the border was, but there definitely was a change in agriculture. Vast areas of glasshouses in The Netherlands and it seems much more orderly. Each field is clearly delineated by a drain and houses grouped together, though small in size. Got excited to see a few of the old windmills in the fields, as well as plenty of the new style wind turbines. Not nearly as elegant, in my eyes. Last adventure for the day was a canal cruise which was a very enjoyable experience too. We saw a 3 storey bike park which holds something like 3500 bikes but is nowhere near enough for the estimated 50,000 cycles ridden in Amsterdam everyday. We have noticed quite a few with flat tyres and bent frames etc ...

... went to the lounge. It was very nice overlooking the tarmac. We booked with germanwings, very budget airline. We got on a small eurowings plane. You didn't get offered anything, not even water, but you can buy of course. Generally the flight was quick. At Schipol we went very quickly though customs, got tickets for the train to Zoetermeer. It was pretty quick, less than an hour. And our hotel was right next to the station. Checked in, bags in the room and off to the ...
